Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Hybrid - Newmarket - 2-days on-site, 2-days WFH

Hours: 32 hours across a 4-day week (no salary sacrifice)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

These products enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of school management, communication, and data integration, reducing the friction of adoption of technology and making sure everyday school life is a bit easier.

MyLogin is a super-fast single sign-on solution that allows students and teachers to access learning tools with simple, child-friendly login options. As a new product on the market, MyLogin requires strong marketing focus to establish its position.

Edusync is a provisioning tool which ensures the automatic synchronisation of data from a school to either Google, Microsoft, or Apple. This innovative solution saves time, improves accuracy and keeps schools' data secure.

Job snapshot:

As Product Marketing Manager for our School Products, you'll have the exciting opportunity to shape their growth across our key territories (including UK, APAC, and South Africa), making them an essential part of any school's IT infrastructure.

You’ll play a key role in developing and launching strategies that drive product adoption and retention, creating engaging marketing campaigns based on customer insight. You will use multiple channels to manage and implement these strategies including exhibitions, digital, and direct. You’ll collaborate closely with our product development, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our products meet market needs and achieve our business goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Embed in the school products teams to deploy successful multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, acquisition and retention.
  • Own a comprehensive calendar of marketing activity spanning the academic year, driving projects through on time and on budget. This can include nurturing communication plans, website development, collateral, exhibitions, and more.
  • Study and understand customer wants and needs to meet customer expectations and ensure these are reflected in the product team’s focus, and in marketing messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with the Product Manager to define value propositions across existing and future products.
  • Identify new opportunities, trends and content opportunities that will drive product adoption and advocacy.
  • Drive brand awareness and educate customers on each school product's activities, products and solutions.
  • Develop and execute activities to enhance customer experience (schools and multi-academy trusts, resellers, and third-party applications) at every point of their journey with the brands.
  • Work with key team members including our; Event Manager, Community Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Sales to ensure the brand presence, voice and activity are in line with marketing objectives, leveraging customer interaction and ensuring consistency of messaging.
  • Liaise with the internal team of designers, web developers and social media experts, plus external agencies to implement marketing campaigns.
  • Write and create content for various purposes, including website, print, blogs and more.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues within Beyond to support wider business objectives in areas of expertise
  • Collaborate with wider teams to further define and expand the scope of existing opportunities.
