Location: Shoreditch, London (Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office per week minimum)

The Role


You will play a foundational role in building out our Global recruitment function. This is a hands-on position that requires sourcing skills and a passion for creating a best-in-class candidate experience. The role will be split approximately 80% Talent Acquisition and 20% on broader People & Culture projects to expand your skillset. You will be instrumental in finding and securing top talent, primarily across our key growth areas: Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from either an agency or in-house background who thrives in a fast-moving scale-up environment and enjoys working across a variety of disciplines.

Responsibilities & Skills Needed
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Design and scale the engine that fuels our international expansion, owning the end to end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates.

  • Targeted Sourcing: Proactively source, engage, and build a pipeline of candidates for Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing roles through multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, etc.).

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them on market trends, compensation, interview best practices, and effective hiring decisions.

  • Brand Ambassador: Build and promote Uptick’s employer brand and build your personal network through social media (eg. Linkedin) to attract top talent.

  • Data-Driven Reporting: Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source-of-hire) to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

  • Growth-focused: As we continue our global expansion, including recent growth in South Africa and potential expansion through M&A, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives, including expansion projects.

About you
  • Demonstrable success in sourcing and hiring for commercial roles, specifically Sales, Marketing, and Customer-facing positions.

  • Strong knowledge of hiring in the UK and the US and relevant employment legislation.

  • Highly organised, adaptable, and data-driven with a strong attention to detail.

  • Compassionate, articulate, and solutions-focused to deliver excellent internal and external outcomes.

  • Experience in a standalone or foundational TA role would be a bonus
