What you’ll need to do
(1) Finance Administration
- General Bookkeeping
- Accounts Payable – process supplier invoices and reconciliations and weekly pay runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Card Reconciliations & employee reimbursements
- Finance compliance – GST/BAS/Payroll Tax/Workcover
- Monthly payroll assistance
- Monitoring and responding to all enquiries sent to Accounts inbox
- First contact for all Finance Accounts enquiries
- Accounts Receivable management (contacting customers, issuing reminders and follow up)
- General finance administration support
- Month end finance assistance
(2) Office Administration - Melbourne Head Office
- Developing, maintaining and managing administrative procedures to streamline the office’s operations
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly (ordering supplies, ordering uniforms, postage etc.)
- General office upkeep
- Plan and coordinate company events, including client events and team meetings
(3) Other General Ad hoc Assistance
- Ad hoc Executive Team assistance as required.
- Ad hoc projects
What you’ll need to bring
To qualify for this role you’ll need to have:
- 3+ years of Finance Admin experience
- Compliance – experience completing BAS returns and Payroll Tax returns.
- Experience with Xero preferable
- Experience with high volume transactional environments is preferable
- Experience with Payroll processing is preferable
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
