in tertiary education programs with a requirement for a professional placement. The placements are unpaid internships which must be part of an appropriate course requirement with a recognised university or training institution.
3DCM
Strong Compute is offering supervised professional placements relating to the company’s “3DCM” project (3D Compute Manager). The product is a management system for super computers. It will be extended with a playable game, allowing players to be the operator of a virtual super computer responsible for its orchestration, maintenance and growth. Related Games: Dyson Sphere Program for UI and visuals inspiration, Banished, Cities Skylines for Game Play style.
The longer term goal of the platform is to be the primary operating system interface for all AI supercomputing environments, on Earth, in orbit and beyond.
Strong Compute
Strong Compute staff have organised over 1,000 professional placements, over the last 12 years, primarily with computer science students in relation to projects at Strong Compute, and other companies including educational games, AR/VR, construction and mining. Many participants have gone on to earn full time roles in Australia or the USA.
