About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact—whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Designer who takes pride in execution excellence. This role is focused on bringing creative ideas to life with consistency, precision, and speed, ensuring every asset is polished, on-brand, and ready for the real world.

In this role, you’ll primarily support marketing, product, and brand initiatives through high-quality digital production work. You’ll also contribute to print outputs where required, with guidance and support from the team as you continue to deepen your print production knowledge over time.

This role is less about originating new concepts and more about ensuring great ideas land consistently and accurately across every touchpoint.

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience as a digitally focused designer, with strong production skills and confidence working within established brand systems. You’re comfortable producing, adapting, and scaling assets across multiple digital channels, and you enjoy the craft of getting the details right. You bring solid expertise across Adobe, Figma, and Google Workspace, and a working knowledge of print production fundamentals.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Produce high quality digital assets across web, social, paid media, email, presentations, and other digital channels
  • Adapt and scale designs across formats, sizes, and placements while maintaining brand consistency
  • Apply established brand guidelines and templates accurately across all digital outputs
  • Prepare and deliver assets ready for handoff across digital platforms
  • Support print production tasks, including layout adaptations and basic print file preparation, with guidance from senior designers
  • Implement feedback efficiently and accurately, maintaining attention to detail under tight timelines
  • Collaborate closely with designers and marketing stakeholders to support campaign rollouts and ongoing content needs
  • Maintain and improve templates, component libraries, and production workflows
  • Flag inconsistencies, risks, or opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, or brand consistency

This role reports to Kornel Fenyvesi, Senior Design Lead.

I’m a design leader with over 25 years of experience across brand identity, digital design and packaging, with a strong focus on clear thinking, high craft and purposeful design. What’s important to me is creating work that balances aesthetics with function, design that is well considered, consistently executed and genuinely useful.

I bring a calm, hands on approach shaped by years of leading creative teams and working across disciplines. I value clarity, collaboration and practical problem solving, and I enjoy building strong design systems that help teams move faster without losing quality.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Auckland, staying curious about new creative tools and technologies, and occasionally getting lost in films, design inspiration or AI experiments, usually fuelled by good coffee.

About you

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • 3+ years of proven experience in digital production design
  • Excellent understanding of digital layout, typography, colour, and brand systems
  • High attention to detail with strong quality control instincts
  • Ability to manage multiple production tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working with structured feedback
  • Working knowledge of print design and production fundamentals
  • Experience with motion graphics, AI assisted production, or design systems is a plus
